In this series, I explore the dynamic atmosphere of a train station in Lucknow, India, a place where emotions run high and stories unfold with each passing moment. I have always been fascinated by train stations as spaces where people embark on new journeys, meet loved ones, or say goodbye. They are crossroads of life, where the rush of movement intertwines with deeply personal emotions.
In India, these experiences are even more vivid, enhanced by the country’s stunning range of colors. The station itself is full of hues reflecting the culture, from the bright saris worn by women to the bold tones of the surroundings. These colors, along with natural light, create a unique canvas that brings out the richness of human experience. In this series, I want to capture not only the act of travel, but also the moments of reflection, expectation, and social situations that accompany it. The photographs invite the viewer to stop and feel the emotions beneath the surface, framed by the omnipresent beauty and energy of India.
